LDAP groups

I'm using the Collaboration Launch Pad to be able to send instant messages to different users. My Portal is connected to an Active Directory that manages all the users and groups.

I want to be able to use the instant messaging to send messages to AD groups, not only to single users.

1. How can I achieve this? Do I have to add rooms that somehow are connected to AD groups?

2. Can I add permissions so that only certain users are able to send messages to certain groups?
