0HR_PT_2 datasource delta load issue

Hi All,

we are loading data from 0HR_PT_2 datasource to Infocube (ZPT_C01), I can see that Delta int loaded data from 01.01.2011 to 06.07.2013 in Infocube , from there onwards  no deltas are picked up from datasource into Infocube . I have seen couple discussion about 0HR_PI_2 in here .

I want to load  that missing data from 2013 still data into infocube without disturbing delta load , I know about repair full request.,but i never done it before ,Please giveme steps to follow , we have process chain running hourly .

I can see data in DS in ECC6. How I can make make this deltas are picked .

Hi ,

if your done init based on 01.01.2011 to 06.07.2013 then your delta will pulls the records which are fall between those ranges only.

if you need delta data from 07.07.2013 onwards then you need to do the new init with different selections.

Run your init info pack with data selections  07.07.2013 to 31.12.9999.

so that this delta will pulls all delta records which fall between those ranges.

sorry , I mean we did delta initialisation , not base on 01.01.11 to 06.07.2013, can see data in infocube from 2011 to 2013.

Shell I do repair full request to get 07.07.13 to still date with out disturbing delta loads ?please let know the steps  ( Create another infopackag go to schedule select repair full request ) what about  DTP for ?

Hi,

Am assuming your missing data for 07.07.2013 onwards at info cube level.

at delta or init info pack what selections you used?

if your delta info pack don't have any selections then you can load repair full request based on date.

use 07.07.2013 to till today.

Assuming as you have delta dtp from psa to cube.

in such cases once you load repair full request load to psa then delta dtp will pick latest loaded request and will load to cube.

Full repair request - you can use existing info pack and use repair full request its its enable.

if its disabled then you can create new info pack and choose repair full request from info pack-->scheduler-->

Hi Ram,

Sorry, i have just checked now , data selection at info package level for Initialization and  delta info package they give calender day 201101 to 201306 only.

I hope that is reason we not getting any records in to bw after 201306 onwards.

correct me if I am wrong .

Yes, thats the reason.

If we do init with selections then delta will pulls the records based on init selections.

Thats why in first reply i said, if you need 07.07.2013 to future(31.12.999) you better to do the another init(with data transfer, it pulls whole data and set delta pointer) with selections 07.07.2013 to 31.12.9999. next time onwards your delta will pulls all records.

I need to know about the delta mechansim of 0HR_PT_2.AFAIK , delta is supported only for PERNR then how your selections are working  ?

When i triggered the init with selection for day , it got failed with an error of invalid selection.

Hi,

0HR_PT_1 and 0HR_PT_2 datasources supports only Personnel Number(PERNR) as selection criteria for delta. so my suggestion is do Init with data transfer with out giving any selection in the Infopackage then run a Delta  you will get correct data.
