Display active users on EP6

Hi,

Could someone share some light regarding the 'display of

active users on Portal 6 - sp2'

I did check the SDN site and found the following path :-

System - Monitor - Portal - Display user.

I could not find the 'Display user' path on EP6 sp2.

Regards,

Morgan

Hi,

I tried the Visual Admin Tool >>

Server > Services > Security > Login Sessions

All i could see was the Administrator user logged on.

I want to see users as same as R/3 (sm04) that is logged

onto the Portal Server, if possible.

This feature does work on EP5.

Many thanks,

Morgan

Morgan,

The Logged on Users link was removed from EP6. Check out SAP Note 766839. I have implemented this on our portal and we can see Logged on Users.

Hope this helps,

Keith

HI,

I am on EP6,SP9 and i can see the logged on users via.

System Administration>Support>WebDynpro Test Tools-->user Management, under the currently active users table.

The same is available in the sneak preview also.

Maybe this can help you.

Hi Keith,

Thanks for responding to my message.

I did have a look at these notes and will implement accordingly.

I think the sooner we move to NW04, it will be better.

Many thanks and appreciate your help.

Hi,

1.In the portal, choose System Administration ® Support ® Support Desk.

2.Click on the User Management link.

3.In the next page, click on Status of UME properties.

¡ On the Active Property View tab, you can see which UME properties are currently in use at runtime.

¡ On the File Property View tab, you can see which UME properties will be used after the next restart of the Java application server.

¡ On the Configuration Download tab, you can download all UME configuration and property files.
