SAP Reports downloads to Excel

Hi Experts,

We have problem to download data from SAP report to Excel.  From SAP Menu--> List--> Export--> Local file - Don't have spreadsheet option.

Can you please advise why spreadsheet option from local file is removed after upgrade support pack EHP7? As you can see from screen shot below attached , there is no option for spreadsheet .

Can't we get it restored as it used to be before ?

Hi Sanjya,

Please do following steps to save it in Excel sheet.

SAP Menu(some times system)--> List--> save --> Local file

Here give the file name with .xls extension. For example abcd.xls

As per SAP note: 2031959...

The result of a Spreadsheet download is not a true binary Excel export but a simple local text file that is separated by tabulators, the description of the format "Spreadsheet" can be misleading and was changed accordingly.
