Messages Scheduled in moni

Hi All,

We came across an issue in Moni regarding Master Data Interfaces. The issue is as follows

Sender: ECC

sender adapter: Idoc

Receiver: WMS systems.

Receiver adapter: JMS

Whenever we receive a bulk load for master data interfaces these messages were scheduled for processing in queue’s. Some of these scheduled messages were struck in scheduled state in moni. When we check the respective queue’s there no entries for that particular queue’s.

The issue is occurring frequently whenever we receive bulk load for Master Data. In the EWA report this is mentioned as the “Queue entries are deleted manually” but we never delete these entries.

could you please suggest  on this.

Thanks,

Seshu.

Hi Nagaseshi,

The interface seems to be asynchronous, why you don restart manually the messages?

Check these blogs:

Hi Vila,

we have cancelled this messages because it couldn't allowing to reprocess. but every time we have to cancel them manually. Is there any alternate method.

Hi Seshu,

I have faced the same situation. In my case i have manually deleted the SMQ2 queues(check if someone has manually deleted queues) since my 57k messages were not processed and consumed all the resources available in Dev environment.Status of Queue is running however messages were not processed. In Message monitoring i can see the 57K messages scheduled and pick few of them and resend the messages which were successful.I restart the messages from MONI and the messages processed successfully.I am on PI7.4 dual stack,i wonder why you were not able to restart from MONI or resend from RWB-message monitoring.

Thanks

Hi Seshu,

The queues that you talk about is SMQ2 correct? How big are these messages that is causing the problem?

On what PI version are you on?

Hi Seshu,

SMQ3 is not a processing queue. It is a queue where messages are stored to be processed later. If you go to SMQ2 and select a message and then "Save LUW" then it will save it to SMQ3.

2MB is also not very big.

What is the issue excatly? So that we can provide the correct solution if possible.

Hi Botha,

Issue: I have found some messages in schedule status in moni. when I selected one message inbound queue from moni, it's showing 0 messages in SMQ2 queue. I didn't find the message in queue but it's showing in moni. I am attaching the screen shots for your reference please check it and let me know if you have any concerns.

Thanks,

Seshu.

Hi Seshu,

This is very strange. Because this normally only happens when someone saves it to SMQ3.

Then it will showed scheduled.

Are you sure that someone might not be saving the entire queue when the system is performing slowly?

Can you please also have a look at the Trace in message. Might have some additional information.

Hi Botha,

No one is saving this entries. but this is happening on every weekend and also when huge data is flowing. it's not processing automatically, we have to cancel this messages manually. if you get any idea on this please share it.

Thanks,

Seshu.
