Webi: Class not found exception issue while opening webi in java applet mode

JAVA version- 1.8 update71
When trying to open webi report in Java applet mode Browser is giving error message as "Class not found exception com.sap.webi.ui.jrp.WebiAppletStartup".
Already tried to install a 32bit JAVA version bur it didnt work. Please suggest.

Hey ,

We are facing the same issue for one of our customer . The issue is not happening in our machines with jre 221 update but it happens for the customer in their machines with the same jre version.

We tried some standard notes available but not applicable .

Were you able to resolve it?

From the exception it seems like the version of the one of the involved parties: IE, SAP BO, JRE, Windows O.S. is not supported.

Please cross check the supported versions here:

As per the screenshot it seems like the browser is not IE11 (but rather an older version).
