Santosh,

This is a very basic question, with a well-known answer. Please search before posting, as I'm sure you would find the answer easily.

This message means that either you are having network communication problems between your SAPGUI client and your SAP server, or the network or SAPLogon configuration on your client is incorrect. Or possibly your SAP server is down. Please look through the following for more information:

Note 1341701: partner 'hostname:service' not reached

Wiki: What is the meaning of the different network error messages

Note 52959: sapms..., sapdp..., sapgw... unknown (or not found)

Furthermore, for future questions, please have a look through this blog, as it will help you pose your questions in a better way so that you get better answers:

Cheers,
Matt

Hi Santosh,

Error "partner not reached (host 192.168.100.100,service sapdp00)" means that your GUI is unable to reach Application Server running on host 192.168.100.100, instance number 00 (in this case, Dispatcher service: sapdp00). This may be related to network problems, or caused by a non-correctly working dispatcher.
You should also check Dispatcher trace file (dev_disp) to check if there's any error.

Regards,
Raquel
