Hi Team,

Has any one worked integrating SAP File life cycle managment with any of the entities of the PPM?

If so please let me know which entities of PPM can be integrated with FLM? Business scenarios where it can hold good?

Hi Maruti,

SAP FLM is mainly meant for public sectors industries to manage their approval of files/daak . What kind of integration are you are looking with PPM?

For managing documents, right know PPM is integrated with

1) It's own document management

2) DMS
3) cFolders

Hi Ravi

Thanks a lot for sharing more information on this. I was just wondering to know if there is any scope of any integration with PPM which we can propose to client and make their system better.

For example

PPM with DMS would be great for some one to see CAD drawings etc..

PPM with C folders yes it can serve the purpose.

If client wants to have some file system in parallel with the project which is happening thourgh PPM can we use FLM if so which area of PPM we can integrate?
