Issue in collective search help-filed disabled

Hello Experts,

I have created elementary search help on KNA1(KUNNR) and another elementary search help on LFA1(LIFNR)

Again I have created collective search help with KNA1(KUNNR) and LFA1(LIFNR).

When I execute the collective search help and its showing two diff. tabs but the LFA1 tab(LIFNR) is disabled so I couldnt search by Vendor.

Cant we achieve with two diff. tables?

Hi Vadamalai,

in the definition tab of collective search help, we have check boxes for each elementary search help which are IMPORT & EXPORT .

please check whether these both are marked for your fields listed in definition tab.

Hello Bhaskar,

I have already checked import and export in both parameter.

Please find the screenpring. I couldnt able to search(vendor field is disabled) but I can able to search based on another tab customer.

Hi Vadamalai,

please navigate to elementary search help for Vendor. and in there,

in the definition tab, in the bottom side there is a table with header 'Parameter'.

in that table there is a check box for SDis-used for pure display. please check whether it is marked or not. If it is marked then the field will be in display mode in search help.

for better reference, I have attached the screen shot and marked the column in yellow.

please share if any concerns.

Thanks for your reply.

Now I could able to search but when I search by Customer its coming to selection screen(report), when I search based on vendor and the value is not coming to selection screen.

REPORT  ZTEST_VR001.

parameter p_vendor type ZZVENDOR.

write p_vendor.

Actually if we assign to particular data element then only one filed can be assigned.
