mandatory fields in Organizational Levels popup from MM

Hello all,

     I want to make the fields from 'Organizational Levels' (the popup from Material Master) mandatory, so that the save will not be done until they are filled.

     It is possible?

You can't do it by any field selection.

You have to do it with transaction variant SHD0 (As suggested by Naveen)

I just tested the same in my system and its working perfect.

My Transaction variant settings.

Its also depend for you settings.

You will find the option in SHD0 for all users or particular user or a group of users.

Here if you select the user or group of user, it will be activated for particular user or group of use.

If you set these fields as blank, then it will be applicable for all users.

Please check with your functional MM team member.

you can do required mandatory field  in material master using SPRO settings.

SPRO>Log General>Material Master>Field Selection>Maintain Field Selection for Data Screens

I cannot find my fields.

the fields in the screen(popup) are : RMMG1-WERKS ,  RMMG1-VKORG , RMMG1-VTWEG .

In  database they are : MArc  -WERKS , MVKE-VKORG and MVKE-VTWEG

Hi Hancila,

Goto SHD0 and create a screen variant for the all material transactions(eg MM01, MM02) and tick the required fields as needed.
