Hi,
I know there there is the client based outlook plugin which can be used to synchronize appointments and tasks between CRM and Outlook. I have, however, a scenario where a number of field sales people only use their ipad. They do not have a PC at all and consequently no MS Outlook where the plugin can be installed.
Is there any way at all to ensure that the appointments made in the C4C Ipad app are synchronized to the Ipad/Outlook calendar in this scenario where users only have an Ipad?
We are using C4C against SAP ERP - so no SAP CRM on premise in between. So leveraging the server based groupware integration with SAP CRM on premise is not an option.
Br,
Anders
Hi Anders,
Without PCs with the Outlook add-in installed, there is no way to get appointments created in C4C iPad app to sync with native iPad calendar.
If they do have PCs with the Outlook add-in installed, and use Exchange server to access via iPad, then yes, appointments created in app will show up on the native calendar.
I just checked with the product manager and this is on the roadmap.
Regards,
Angela
