Problem related to batches missing in APO

Hi All,

I am facing issue with missing batches in APO. Error log says : Error in reading stocks and it displays missing batch number .

From BMBC t-code I got materials related to the Batches.

When I try to do CCR for the materials related to missing batches in APO ,it gives an error saying materials does not exist.

When I checked in R/3 system, there are Base materials (in APO) available for the above materials( in R/3).

So Materials does not exist solution found by finding related Base material.

But then, when I tried doing RIMODINI for the base material to send Batches related to it to APO, it did not give any solution.

Still the Batches are missing in APO.

Does anyone know the alternate method to send missing batch for the material from R/3  to APO.

It gives lots of escalations in APO system due to missing batch.

Any kind of help would be appreciated .

Hi Suma,

Did you cif stock together with batches in CFM1?

Hi All,

I have got the solution.In such cases we need to run RIMODINI for materials related to batches and with proper location to which material is related. RIMODINI for base materials doesn't work.

Hi Suma,

Please check whether the IM's Are activated for the below in the sequence as below

1) IM for class/characteristics

2) IM for Materials

3) IM for Batches

4) Then the IM for Stock,

Please follow above steps and let me know if it works

Hi Anil,

I created an IM for the batches and related materials in error and did RIMODINI for it. It did not work.

Hi Suma,

Check Batch Mangement is active for that material and in CIF Storage Location Stocks are selected while doing data transfer.
