UOM error in Material Master

"UOM is not allowed"message displaying in Material Master creation.

After maintaining all the details, while saving the Material system throws the above mentioned message and it is not getting saved.

Can any one please guide me how to solve it?

Have you changed any setting for the uom EA ?

Double click on the message and post the message number.

We tried to double click the message which is in vain.

We are unable to get message details like Long Text and Message No.

Also Check there are any custom restrictions made through ABAP development like - for Raw materials only specific UOM allowed to use. Like restricted for Raw materials - EA cannot be selected.

looks pretty much like a own developed check.

if you know your colleagues, then just ask them, otherwise use SE91 enter the message class 00 and the message number 001 and click Where-Used list icon.

you get a pop-up to select where to check, leave the checkmark for ABAP click the button for search range and enter Z* (try again with Y*) in the object name field and execute

SAP will usually show the programs

Display the program, choose from menu Utlilities > versions > Version management

and SAP will show you all users who have worked on that program

Sit with your ABAP, and show him the error message.

He will tell you the causes the error message.

Kindly consult with Abaper, there must be some abap/customizaiton in Material Master Creation.

There might be Custom Development been done.

Check it with your Technical (ABAP) team.

Once you make a Goods Receipt, you cannot make changes to Base Unit of Measeue.
