Unresticted stock is zero , allocating quantity for reservation for a batch

Dear Gurus,

For a batch the system allocating quantity for reservation, though the quantity in unrestricted is zero. Attaching screen shot.

Its normal.

You have done Goods issue or transfer posting after the creation of reservation.

I have tested the scenario. My system is also showing the same.

where is the problem? if you have not setup the dynamic availability check for your goods issue movements then you can issue as much as you have regardless of a reservation.

You have to think about your processes. What comes first, the physical goods issue, or the booking in SAP?

If you first do the physical goods issue, then the availability check is just hindering you from recording what physically already happened, this would be a bad case, since you usually cannot get the material back.

If you post prior to giving the goods away, then the availability check makes sense.
