Hello!
I have a customer that is having issues when archiving PO's.
They archive PO's older than 18 months, but they want to exclude the PO's that includes assets that are still in use.
Are there any tips on how to archive and exclude the PO's with account assignment A?
How is this generally handled?
The only way that I could think of is to extract the PO's with account assignment A and add them to the excluded POs in SARA.
Is there any way to do this automatically excluding the paramenter account assignment A?
Thanks in advance!
Best regards,
Karin
There are no selection field as account assignment category in the t-code SARA.
Account Assignment category is not available because, you can use two line items in PO, one with AAC and another without AAC ?
Now when you will run archive process, then what you want to do with these two line items?
System will never can't archive one line item for a PO.
So in standard, system will never give any selection field for archive process, which can differ in PO line items.

Although, you do a development to get the information from EKPO instead of EKKO, how you will manage in that case which PO has two line items (one with AAC and one without AAC) ?
In that case, you should use different document type for the Asset PO.
Then the archive process will be easy for you.
I think it is not possible to change the document type for documents that are so old that they fall already into the archiving criteria. It may be a solution for future documents.
You can use Badi ARC_MM_EKPO_CHECK to check the account assignment indicator.
In this case it does not get a deletion indicator and POs having items without deletion indicator will not be considered for archiving.
