#COMPUTATION error in webi

Hi Gurus,

I changed my idt connection from dev bex query to qa bex query.. now if i open my webi reps in webi rich clients im getting #COMPUTATION error for the dimension and measures, but im able to open in lauch pad with out any prb..

(Initially my bo reports are pointing to dev bex query at that i dont hav any prb in rich client)

Now i want to open the webi reps in rich client to apply some alert settings..

Pls advice me..

Hi Mahi,Is your report cross tab?

1. Change the name of the .blx and publish the same to repository

2. in .blx i have made a folder status -->"Hidden"

3. My Webi report which is built on this universes is now refreshed, i got "#COMPUTATION" error for dimensions and measures too

I tried to re-map the Data source with "Change Source" and still got the same error

4.I reverted the changed and published the .blx to repository.

5. Refreshed the webi report and everything is back to normal !

does v_order cuts contain the formula

yes variable V_order cuts having below formula..

= If(IsNumber(1 Where ( [Report ID] = "RPT7" And [Reconciliation Flag]="X" ))) Then "Red"

Else If(IsNumber(0 Where ( [Report ID] = "RPT7" And [Reconciliation Flag]="Y" )) ) Then "Green"

Else "No data"

And this variable is working in the rep, but if i use any other fields from the source like rundate/rep id/reconciliation flag/... which are coming from bex query then we are getting this #COMPUTATION error..

And whn i include this variable with rundate then also im getting this error

I am not able to attach excel...the data highlighted is been needed..

and i able to see data in lauch pad but in rich client i m getting prb..this is hapenning after changing the connection

Hi

Can you try to create exact same variable with diff name and drag it into your report to see if it is giving error or not
