Changing drop down into F4 help in my TMG

Hi Experts,

I have created a ZDOMAIN with some values and assigned it to a data element which I have been using in my Ztable.

In my TMG, I have the respective data element with drop down values. Is there any possibility to change it as a F4 help.

I know that, I can use a check table and make it as a F4. But I'll be maintaining the values only in domain and not in table level.

So, how can I go for a F4 settings? Please help me.

Hi,

If the values are maintained in Domain Value range, automatically F4 help will appear. In your TMG might be, the screen is modified and set the properties as List box.

Go to your TMG screen and then change the properties of that field from List box to Input field.

Thanks a lot for your timing help.

I got resolved. You may follow the below steps to change its properties

TMG->Environment->Modifications->Maintenance Screen->Your Screen->Go to Element List tab->Go to Text/I/O templates->Select your field and set it as No_Dropdown in Dropdown column.
