Successfactors - HANA

Hi there,

I observed something regarding HANA - It is used by SAP in cloud products - so clearly SuccessFactors. What is an alternative to HANA for SFSF!

Does it mean the applications built by anyone on SAP HANA can directly run in SuccessFactors!

If so can someone give an example of how it works! So are we saying we can build custom SFSF applications using SAP HANA. (Sorry but I am new to HANA as also with SuccessFactors. ) Do we build applications on HANA using coding! ( I think there is no coding required for SFSF)

Hi Bharat,

Please be sure to correctly distinguish which HANA product you are referring to. I assume it is the SAP HANA Cloud Platform, a development platform on which custom applications can be written. Custom applications can be written on the SAP HANA Cloud Platform for SuccessFactors Employee Central. Over time this will open up to other SuccessFactors applications.

Other related applications include SAP HANA Cloud Integration and the SAP HANA database. The former can be used to integrate SuccessFactors.

Yes, it is the SAP HANA cloud I am talking about. So this means now in employee central module and  later on in other SFSF modules there is development/coding possible.

can you elaborate with an example how it works with Employee central! I am really curious.
