GRC AC - BRM - Role Import issue

Hello Experts,

I am on SP13 with all the latest notes applied to my system. Going live in 2 weeks. I have a quick question. When I import the roles from backend file on desktop, the roles are all updated/imported successfully. Just realized, that I have specifically mentioned that Provisioning should NOT be allowed for Parent roles, but its NOT considering that value. If I keep, Y or N - its NOT changing and when I goto check NWBC for the role, it says provisioning is allowed and it actually is provisioned.

Any clue what to check here?

Regards

Ashsh

    Hi Ashish,

Don't maintain role status as "PRD" or "PRO" for the parent roles. These roles then will not be available for end users to select and if this is done .. no provisioning issue also.

We are also on SP13 and i tested by keeping "Allow provisioning" to NO and it is being updated properly in NWBC.

If possible please share some screenshots also 😊

    Regards,

    Madhu.

      Hi Madhu:

Thanks for the reply. I appreciate it. I tried uploading the roles without role status and some of them with role status as TST and actually - the one with TST are NOT available for selection, but roles without any role status is still available. But anyways, I am able to achieve what I was expecting.

Thanks for giving me this idea.

      Regards

      Ashish
