CCMS - Change Interval

hi experts,

I use the metric SystemWideFreeBPWP to get the free background-jobs processes.

But the meausrement seems to be done only all 5 minutes.

And it seems, as this measurement is always a "current" snapshot-measurement.

Therefore the values are really wrong and if I compare them with the overview in SM51 I get a complelty other result.

How can I change the intervall of this metric, so that it gets measured all minutes?

Hello Christian,

the data collector for this MTE  CCMS_BP_FREE_WP is started by the autoabap dispatcher. The autoabap dispatcher is running every 5 minutes in the system. The data collector cannot run more frequently than the dispatcher itself. You see the data collector if you display "Views --> Status data collector" for this MTE.

But what about other measurements like Utilisation of Dialog Processes.

There I get a value every minute.

So there is another measurement-engine behind I guess?

But so the values are really sometimes very wrong and execute an alert, where no alert is.

yes, Utilisation of Dialog Processes is updated by an active data supplier, which is started in the SAP kernel.

you may need to check also the note:

1240700 - Incorrect alert in CCMS background

for the alert text. Please check the properties of the MTE SystemWideFreeBPWP, if for the alert text the message RT 007 is configured. If not, you may need to delete the MTE with option 4 and recreate it by executing the report RSDS_BP_FREEWP in SE38 one time manually. It will recreate SAP_DEFAULT customizing for this MTE with the correction from the note 1240700 for the alert text.
