Trex dont index all documents

hey

TREX fails when indexing some documents/files.

They end up in status "preparations fails".

Error:

HTTP Status Code 404: Not Found

Hope some one have a idea of what cause this ?

Hi Kim,

404 always means: cannot access document.

This may have several reasons. Some things to check:

- Can you ping the document server from the TREX server?

- Can you open the document through a browser that you open on the TREX server or even from anywhere?

- Have you gone through the documented post installation tasks for TREX?

hi

please ensure you have configured datasource properly . basically defining index and crawler as well datasource holds the key for indexing as well you can use taxonomy if at all required .

and use 1:1 relationship for index and repository which is acting as data source.
