Close IE browser from HTML gui

Friends,

We are launching transcations from NWBC using GUI for HTML to process workflow tasks. We would like to close the browser automatically when user completes processing. Currently I am logging off user using SYST_LOGOFF but this leaves the IE browser open.  How can I close IE browser automatically from HTML GUI?

Your query isn't related to NWBC, it is a webgui / ITS issue. You could configure a custom logoff page for the webgui ICF node and use Javascript to close the window.

Thanks for your quick respose. I am launching transactions using CL_NWBC URL_CONSTRUCT and URL_LAUNCH methods. Do you still think it is an ITS issue? if yes, can you guide how to configure logoff page?

Will  it be for SAP/BC/GUI/SAP/ITS or SAP/NWBC service I need to configure logoff page? Please advise.

If you set ~SINGLETRANSACTION = 1 (under GUI configuration) for webgui and then configure a custom logoff page for it (yes, the webgui ICF service, not the NWBC one), it should work. There should be documents on SCN describing the creation of custom logoff pages.
