Please help! CR 2008 to CR 2011 upgrade

I have Crystal Reports 2008 installed. I purchased CR 2011 upgrade. Looking for the process to install this upgrade. I have searched the website for 2 days with no luck. please help!

For some reason, when I installed the first time it gave a side-by-side error msg. So I uninstalled and reinstalled and it works now. Thank you for your feedback

Hi Zane,

1) You would not be able to upgrade to Crystal Reports 2011 from the Crystal Reports 2008's start page

2) CR 2008 and CR 2011 are two separate licenses and both of them need to be installed individually. It's not a simple Service Pack/Fix Pack upgrade, it's a complete version upgrade

You can install both CR 2008 and CR 2011 side by side on single machine. In my machine i installed both versions with out any problems. the both versions are working good.

I assume you downloaded CR 2011 upgrade, simply copy it locally and then run setup.exe.

Or it may be a self extracting executable so simply run it by right clicking and selecting run as administrator.
