Abap system LDAP configuration

Hello everyone!

Could somebody give step-by-step manual how to configure ldap connection and user mapping in abap system?

Current sitation:

1. Configure LDAP Connector

2. Create System User

3. Configure LDAP Server

This part is done and works fine...

But what should i do next?

I want to use for mapping ExtensionAttribute3. And i dont want to change AD schema (or i have to do it anyway?)

I found few manuals but they are different...

In one of them i found as a next step:

"Navigate to transaction SPRO and select SAP Customizing Implementation Guide.

Drill down to SAP Netweaver->Gateway-> Generic Channel->Configuration->Consumer Settings->Select User Mapping Type.

Add a new entry and enter LDAP based user mapping, LDAP server you created in the previous steps and the LDAP attribute to be used for mapping."

But i dont have this menues in SPRO...

In other manual i have to go to transaction LDAPMAP. It looks like in this case i need some XML file with mapping attributes, after that i need to make this feel mapping. And then i have to set synchronization account from AD to ABAP. But i dont understand where i can get XML file and i guess in this file should be ExtentionAttribute3 as a mapping attribute...

So... I will be very appreciate for any assistance! 😊
