Hello

Error during sap solution managet 7.1 upgrade from fresk install to SPS11 applicaton via SUM: SAPup broke during phase START_SHDI_FIRST in module MAIN_SHDRUN / ShadowSystem Operations 1 ETQ206 Executing pre-phase DB specific actions.

Hi Eric,

Please follow SAP Note 525677 - Problems when starting shadow instance.If possible please share dev_w* log from the upgrade directory .../abap/DEV/DVEBMGS01/work/

Hello system return: SAPup startshd At this time of the procedure, the shadow instance does not yet exist since you are before phase START_SHDI_*! Regards eric

Check the work process trace files of the shadow system to understand why the shadow system fails to start.
