I need to schedule large volume orders - however, our routings are "standard" and only allows one work center to do a particular work step. However, I will be using multiple work centers. My goal would be to have the work centers have time associated on them for capacity requirements and not have extended lead time, as I know that the parts are going to run in parallel at the same time.

You mean that a work center can process several orders at the same time? If this is the case, there is an interesting DIMP functionality, which is active by default in S/4 HANA, called order combination. With this functionality several orders can share an operation. If you mean that several operations of the same order can run in parallel, then you can define an overlapping between the operations or even define parallell sequences.
