Hi Experts,
We are working In positive time management. In and out time we are capturing 2011 infotype. My client want over time approval process. Every day we are running the time evaluation. If less hours and more hours employee and manager should receive the notification. If less hours he need to raise the request for attendance approval .If he worked OT he has to get the ot approval once OT approved then only OT should be process. This is the requirement. Please let me know.
How to process this in SAP.
Thanks and Regards,
Revathi.
Hi Revathi,
You can write a PCR where you can sum the hours worked in a day and then compare the hours with planned working hours for the day. If the hours are less, then you can raise a message in time evaluation using operation COLER. This message can be found in PTMW where the administrator can inform the employee to apply for attendance.
If the hours are more than planned hours, then you can send a notification to apply overtime.
The concept of approved overtime is a standard SAP functionality in schema TM00. You need to refer to the line item GOT TO20 01 in the schema. Based on the notification, a record needs to be created in IT2007 for the overtime approval and time evaluation will again retro to calculate the overtime.
I hope this helps.
Thanks and regards,

Hi Vivek,
Thanks allot for your reply. My client wants notification for employee and manager for missing time.
Every month Over time should be calculate in payroll once higher level manager approved the OT.
overtime calculation month should treated as (15th of previous month to 14th of current month)
Once run the time evaluation tables will be updated automatically. How can i stop the Over time for some time. Please help me how to do in the SAP.
Thanks and Regards,
Revathi.
Generally payroll is run mid of the month. Hence, any overtime calculated after the payroll has run will be included in next month's payroll.
Let us say that the payroll for Jun'14 is being run on 15th Jun. In such a situation any overtime after 15-Jun will get included in Jul'14 payroll only.
In positive time, overtime calculation will happen only when actual overtime data is available.
Thanks and regards,
