Adapting to HTML5

Hi experts,

Is there any document or guidelines to adapt to HTML5. Or is it assumed that it should function the same way as in Silverlight?

thanks in advance.

    Hi Mahesh

There are lots of documents for HTML5 in help center, you just need to login into your solution and search the word HTML5.

You can use URL of your instance for using HTML5 or silverlight

    for Silverlight: https://myXXXx.crm.ondemand.com/sap/public/byd/runtime?client_type=sl

    for HTML5:https://myXXXx.crm.ondemand.com/sap/public/byd/runtime?client_type=html

you can not use HTML5 for Administration purpose I mean WorkCenter "Application and User Management" will not be available with HTML5, if you want to use this workcenter you have switch into Silverlight

    Thanks- Sunil

    Hi Mahesh.

It is much simpler than Silverlight UI and different than HTML5. It is much intuitive. The tooltip on icon clearly explain what it is meant for. I enjoy it more than Silverlight UI.

One thing you need to have is patience because if you do something hurriedly without waiting for process to finish it becomes issue and you might not be able to use the object. SAP support for those cases is terrible. So keyword is patience and you will enjoy doing it.
