sysmsg.srvc

Anyone out there have any clues as to how to use the miniapp SYSMSG.srvc, apart from the obvious of including as a miniapp in a role. When called, it asks for the logon details and try as I might (via parameter passing and the like), I cannot get it to log straight into the Workplace R/3 client. I know this is old technology, but some of us have to administer 'legacy' systems.
