Investment Project using investment measure

Hello everyone,

We have one investment project ( Using investment profile ). We incur cost in WBS ( Actual cost - VT 4 &11). After executing cj88, we can see automatic created Auc's under CJ02 ( 100 % actual cost of VT 4 settled. ) Now there are two scenario's.

1. The cost incurred in AuC is fully settled to Final Asset which we create manually through AS01 & maintain in settlement rule.

2. The cost incurred in AuC are partially adjusted among 2-3 Final Assets.

How can we achieve the 2nd scenario.

Regards

Gaurav Ahuja

create more lower levels of WBS

For each asset class create a new AuC

this way directly you can settle to multiple assets via AuC to FXA from WBS

    Hi GAurav

The second scenario is quite possible. We can settle AuC cost to n no. of fixed assets. There are standard t-codes and procedures in asset accounting to achieve the same. USeful t-codes are like AIAB, AIBU, AIBJ..etc.. I dont remember all.

You can discuss it with FI (asset accounting) consultant to know about it in detail.

    Or

    you can google it also.

    Thanks

    • Hi Gaurav,

There is a way that you can settle the AUC cost to different final fixed assets if the WBS investment measure have only one AUC in the WBS settlement rule. In the WBS settlement rule itself we can maintain multiple final assets as settlement receivers. You can allocate the percentage over there to split the cost of AUC to each final asset.

    Hi Gaurav,

Goto CJIC->Enter Final settlement rule (maintain rule there by entering your FXA)->back & save-> goto menu bar->Environment->Settlement (execute partial settlement)

This will settle amount from AUC to your FXA. Now run tranx AIAB with this FXA. And from there you can distribute the amount to either one or many assets by maintaining settlement rule there..
