Hello QM gurus,

I have a QM managed material.

Is it possible to do transfer posting for this material in txn MIGO via movement type 350 (QI to Blocked stock)?

Hi,

No, It is not possible. It can only possible through the Usage decison only you can move the stock from QI to Blocked stock.

Hi Suresh,

In Txn QA32, the system allows to post to unrestricted / Blocked from QI.

So we are trying a Z-QM tool where:-

on acceptance the stock goes to Unrestricted.

on rejection the stock needs to be posted to Blocked.

Is there any customizing by which this can be achieved.

I have already tried VMENGE04 customizing in QM->QI->Insp Lot Completion->Define Inv. Posting

VMENGE04 - 08 - To blocked stock - 350 - 344

That's correct but not complete. You need to further maintain the 'Posting proposal UD' against the relevant UD codes via QS51.

Yes you are correct, this setting was missing.

I have now tested the scenario with BAPI_INSPLOT_SETUSAGEDECISION.

This works fine, thanks for your help.

HI,

Yes you can post 350 movement type from MIGO transaction by selecting transfer posting and other(if you are directly transfer or you can choose reservation if you want to transfer against reservation) as follows . you can also make same transaction by MB1B TCODE

No !! You cannot do the TP via MIGO or MB1B for a QM managed material. QI stock can be moved to Block or any other location via QM transactions only.

If you run a test case for this, system will throw an error of "Changing the inspection stock in QM only"

You missed the sentence "I have a QM managed material."

You can't do transfer posting from QI to anywhere from MIGO or MB1B, when you material has the QM managed..

You can use MB1B to transfer the stock from quality to blocked with movement type 350.
