Hello experts,

what is the difference between webdynpro application and webdynpro component ?

In the Launchpad (lpd_cust), I see webdynpro applications (e.g hress_a_benefits) specified, but when I

try to open it from se80, it's not showing.

How do I access webdynpro application from backend ?

Thanks

Raghu

Hi Raghu,

Go to SE80->Click on other object(in top menu)->in popup window, give the application name which you need to find associated wdp component and click OK.

It gives you all the details associated with appl'n. PFB the snapshot for reference.

.

Hope it might resolve your issue.

Thanks

WD applications are bound to interface views of WD components. In SE80 you can open WD applications by using Other Object... -> Web Objects -> Web Dynpro Applicat. This is a very basic question, maybe you should familiarize yourself with the WD documentation before asking questions such as these. That said this discussion thread belongs to the space.
