STMS- SCHEDULED IMPORT

Former Member

I am trying to delete a scheduled import from STMS.

Few months back, I have created scheduled import using the event SAP_TRIGGER_RDDIMPDP from the truck icon (attach 1).  This allows us to automatically import into DEV when released from SE01.

anyhow, I want to stop the scheduled transport but I can't seem to do this. Someone on SCN suggested I got to SM37 but the I can't seem to find the job any longer.

how can I remove the schedule job from STMS?

thanks

Hi

goto STMS --> [F5] --> import queue of DEV --> GOTO --> JOB MONITOR

You can delete the job, if there is any

or

SE16 --> TRBAT --> [F7]

You can delete the transport

or

SE16 --> TRJOB --> [F7]

You can delete the transport job

good luck

Yuksektepe,

Your solution is good.

Also, would know a way for automatically transporting without having to do it in STMS every time?

If I release a transport from SE01, I want it to trigger an automatic import into DEV , without having me go to STMS every time

I know you can  set a time interval but I dont want to do that. I want to the release from SE10 to trigger the import.

thanks

Hi Juan

Thank you for the points.

Ss shown in the screenshot in you first message STMS1.PNG), You can schedule a job that imports transports automatically (AFTER EVENT) into DEV. Choose "EXECUTE IMPORT PERIODICALLY". In the next screen you can, for instance, schedule this job to run every 5 minutes. Every time when a transport is released, withinh 5 minutes it will be imported automatically into DEV.

You should always manually check the import log for errors

Good luck.

do you know the name of the event that I need to use?

I am already aware of the  5 minute interval import, which is not what I need.

thanks.

Provided you also selected "periodic job" when you scheduled it, you should be able to see the job in SM37c.  Just make sure to enter job name "TMS*", and select "*" in the event field.  If that doesn't work, try setting the from/to dates to 01/01/1900-12/31/9999 as well.
