Licenses - where are they?

Former Member

I have a need to re-assign a license.  I used to do that on the Sybase Product Download Center (i.e. Subscribenet).  Is that still the place?

If so, I don't see the two licenses that we generated in Jan/2013.  Why not?  I need to re-assign one of these.

Help is appreciated.

I see my licenses, but mine are not under support.  As the subscribenet page says:

Please Note:

After the end of June 2014 all downloads and license key generation for licenses under support has to be done via the SAP Service Marketplace http://service.sap.com. For licenses that were not under support at the time of migration to SAP this site can continue to be used for the purposes of re-hosting. Product download images however will NOT be available after the end of June 2014.

SAP Service Marketplace does NOT contain older End of Lifed product versions. Should you wish to retain copies of this software for future use we strongly encourage you to download copies  BEFORE you are migrated to SAP support plans and infrastructure.

Terry,

I read the note, as well, and I'm still a little confused.  "After the end of June 2014...", so I thought Subscribenet must still be the mechanism, currently, to re-claim/re-assign a license.  Yes?  Also, if the two licenses that we generated in Jan/2013 were not "under support," are they not re-claimable/re-assignable?  I don't even see them being generated at all, but we have the license files.  Thanks for your help.

All I can say is that I see my licenses and I have the ability to check them in/out.

Hi

Raise a non technical case on SAP support and they will help you. This is what they sent me:

Your support has migrated to the SAP Service Market Place portal at http://service.sap.com/sybase/support

Following is information you will need to access that portal.

SAP Customer number: xxxxxxxxxx

Installation Number: xxxxxxxxxxxx

S-User ID: xxxxxxxxxx

You will also need a password or use the reset option.

Please see the following videos for information on how to use the Portal.
