Account name in Contact Person selection box?

We have a problem with Partner Determination procedures:

There is an account (A1) with two contacts (C1 and C2) under ‘has contact person’ relationships)

When I am creating an opportunity with A1 as ‘Sales Prospect’, it is determining three contact persons (C1, C2 and A1).

I am unable to figure out why account (A1) is getting determined as a contact person?

Does this have anything to do with the Access Seq assigned to ‘Contact person’?

I have the following settings:

I used a PDP with two standard PF’s (Sales prospect & Contact Person).

Sales prospect has Function category 0006 (Activity Partner) and relationship

Contact Person has Function category 0007 (Contact Person)

1. I assigned an ‘Acc Seq’ (AS1) to ‘Contact person’

Batch/ Dialogue Seq: 10

Source: CRM_PARTNER_C (Business Partner Relationships)

Partner Function: 00000021 – Sales Prospect (CRM)

On doing this the PF ‘Contact person’ gets populated with 3 contacts (C1, C2 and A1)

2. I assigned an ‘Acc Seq’ (AS2) to ‘Contact person’

Batch/ Dialogue Seq: 10

Source: CRM_PARTNER_D (DO NOT USE - General Business Partner Mode)

Function Category: 0006 Activity Partner

Usage: CRM Customer Relationship Management

On doing this the PF ‘Contact person’ gets populated with 3 contacts (C1, C2 and A1)

3. I assigned an ‘Acc Seq’ (AS3) to ‘Contact person’

Batch/ Dialogue Seq: 10

Source: CRM_PARTNER_C (Business Partner Relationships)

Function Category: 0006 Activity Partner

Usage: CRM Customer Relationship Management

On doing this the PF ‘Contact person’ doesn’t get populated
