Workspaces not supported in this system

Dear Experts,

We are using SAP BO advanced analysis excel add ons and connecting it to the data source  to read from the BI system, then we change some data and use reload from data source section to update the changes back to BI system but when we choose the target system and hit next we receive the message says workspaces not supported in this system!!

So, any idea how to resolve it and if any thing we miss before uploading back to the target system?

Are you using HANA or BWA?  Systems using BW Workspaces must be HANA or BWA

In general, regardless of the above issue, Is there a way to write back the changes to BW? and how?

Also, if we make APO  the source system to bring planning figures and we need to adjust the planning and write back to APO infocubes inside the BW, is this doable using BO analysis?
