How to sort Calendar/Year Month (0CALMONTH) by key by default ?

I would like to know how to sort Calendar/Year Month (0CALMONTH)  by key by default ?

Hi Nicolas,

For this, you must set the Display property of the object in the query as 'Key' in query designer.

I tried this but it's only ok for the new reports.

How to apply it to existing reports ?

It should work alike for existing and new reports as far as i have seen.

After you change the 'Display as' setting to 'Key' did you check the output in Analyser or through RSRT to see if the change has affected the result or not?

If you see the change come through on analyser and RSRT outputs, then it means you need to have a look at the report.

So please confirm if you checked the result in Analyser and RSRT after chaging the 'Dispaly as' to Key.

Yes I see the change in Analyser.

So that means the problem is on  'Analysis for Olap' side.

But I don't see what to do to solve it except rebuilt wrong reports.

Yes, Nicolas.

That is what I was filtering down to. Problem is just on the Analysis for OLAP side.

Since there is not much formating you would anyway do on the Analysis for OLAP report, I guess it would not take a long time in rebuilding the report.

So I feel that is what you can do now.

Before doing so, might be worth logging off and logging on to the BI4 launchpad to have a look if the changes have come through.

Sorry if misunderstood your question.

Is n't that the 0CALMONTH from Bex gets sorted with A-Z or Z-A, when you click Key.

In fact my question was when you drag and drop Calendar Year / Month in rows block, how to sort it by default by key ?

I know I can change the sort by key after but by default it's sorted by text (not relevant).
