authorisation issue

Hi,

When I am trying to report POD in freight order I get the error message-not authorised to save the document  and hence save gets cancelled.

Can someone explain how we know what type of authorisation is required to rpeort POD

I am also suggesting what Steffen is suggesting. Go to SU53 and provide the screen shot to your Basis or Securty team. Then they will suggest what roles and objects are needed.

This is not possible since business do not log in thru SAP Gui where u can type in SU53 but rather they navigate thru portal. In this case what is the alternative to su53

In this case you can also check SU53 as the EM Web UI calls function modules in the backend.

You could also set an external breakpoint and debug for authority checks.

You have to start SU53 in SAP Gui after entering the Web UI and the authorization error occured.

Another option would be ST01 Authorization trace:

Run transaction SU53 after trying to save. There you should see which authirizations are missing.

Please check that the authorization object X_EM_EVM with activity 32 is assigned to your user.
