We are using BOBJ 4.1 SP2.
When searching for an item in BI Launch Pad, it results in the following error, for example I searched for 'budget':

Hi Arvind,
I am not sure if the issue is with account type.
Because the same end user when searching for other terms like 'HR', 'Doe' works fine.
Just that when they search for 'Budget' it gives that error only for end user.
But for Adminiustrator as you said, it does not give the error.
Not sure what is going on here 🙂
Thank you
Suman
This is what I received from SAP:
- It is a bug in the BI 4.0 product and an ADAPT01711291 has
been raised for the same.
- Please go through the attached KBA '1933935 - BI Launchpad search
failing with error "The property with ID SI_CUID does not exist in the
object" for non-Admin users' for more information.
- As per the ADAPT details, it is targeted to be fixed in BI 4.0 SP10
which is scheduled to release in July 2014 week 30
- The schedule is subject is to change without prior notice. You can
regularly check the SAP BusinessObjects maintenance schedule on the
following link on SAP service marketplace
SAP Support portal -> Software Downloads ->SAP Software Download
Center -> Support Packages and Patches -> SAP Support Package stacks
- You are using BI 4.1 SP2 and I did not find information about
inclusion of fix of this issue in release notes of latest Service
packs of BI 4.1 (SP3 or SP4)
- So as per my knowledge you will have to wait for BI 4.0 SP 10 to
release and the releases of BI 4.1 post to that will have the fix of
this issue.
Hi Suman,

Could you please tell me whether you got any update from SAP for this error?
Even myself is in Bi4.1 SP5 P4 and getting same error. Please update me with the info that you got from SAP ticket on this regard.
Is this error confirmed as BUG? If you can share me the ticket details, i can verify it.
Thanks,

Hi,
I was advised to go for the next service pack level as this behavior was not observed there.
I did not apply it yet. But I am re indexing the content every weekend and I am running the continues crawl, which seems to help.
I am hitting the issue when the service gets restarted or something and this is the reason I am re indexing every week.
Let me know if you come across any solution.
Thanks
