Field Explorer Icon Meanings

Greetings.

In field explorer > Parameter Fields, what does the icon mean that looks like a [?] with a database icon on it?

Hi Wade,

It means that prompt has been used in the Record Selection Formula.

It could also mean that the prompt is part of the Stored Proc (if you're reporting against one) or it is a 'Command level prompt' that has been added to the query's where clause.

There is another icon that is a horizontal rectangle with a checkmark.  What does that mean?

Sorry, I couldn't find an icon key in the documentation.

That would mean that it's either a database field or a parameter that has been used somewhere on the report - either in a formula or simple drag and drop on the report canvas.
