Data bridge not working?

Hi there,

I am trying my first import into PCM via Data Bridge but cannot make it work.

i am using the coporate PCM10 VMWare.
Can you please tell me how I can find the root cause of this issue?

Here is the data before the import

I have created a very simple flat file

And a spec file

The log says that everything went fine but I cannot see any change via the grid after refreshing it....

Hi JB,

Your problem certainly comes from naming issues. In your grid I can see the line item “Production costs” (with a space). But in your input file it’s “ProductionCosts” without space. Look in your Line Item hierarchy, I bet you have a new item “ProductionCosts” at the root. Add to it the fact that you use space as a delimiter, you get your solution. Make sure your names are consistent and use a common delimiter like tab or semi column.

I have updated the input file with a ; delimiter and added the space to the line item and now running the import replaces the existing amount with 0 instead of the 50 that I want to import...

Please let me know if you have an idea of where i should be looking.

Check that the EUR currency has a rule =1, or use the default NON currency

Hi,

In you spe file, you have put the lineitemname as the lineitemvalue.

The line LET Lineitemvalue=Lineitemname means that databridge will try to load the LI Name as the value (and will still use it as the LI name).
