PTax Issue

Dear Experts,

As per the issue, when employee becomes eligible for PTAx, and we maintain IT0588, with subtype 003, then also PTax is not deducting. For rest employees, it is deducting.

Please help me solve the issue.

Thanks and Regards,

Bhagyashree

Can you check function INPTX in that go for processing and compare that amount with slabs maintained for that particular state in table V_T7INP4

I mean to say in payroll log you can find INPTX under INN1 sub schema.

In that function go for processing and you will find the eligible amount for ptax.

If that amount is not eligible compared to slabs in V_T7INP4 then it will not deduct.

Some WTs will not be a part of ptax basis for ex conveyance , LTA in general.

Don't calculate directly on gross because WTs cumulation class can be different based on requirement.

      regards,

      Narendra
