Problem in SXI Cache refresh:Response Code 503

Hi all,

The SXI cache contents are not getting refreshed automatically on making changes in the Directory or Repository. Also, I am unable to refresh the cache contents manually in transaction SXI_CACHE.

I get the following error on refreshing: Response Code 503: Service Unavailable.

The RFC Destination INTEGRATION_DIRECTORY_HMI has correct entry in the URL(Path Prefix) and Test Connection from SM59 is working fine.

How do I make this work?

Regards,

Puloma Chaudhuri.

    Hi,

Are ur HTTP services active. If an HTTP service is not running on the Integration Server, this can cause connection problems, which in turn can cause the notification of the cache on the Integration Server

    to fail

    Start transaction SICF.

    Choose default_host -> sap -> xi.

    All services should be active,

    particularly the services cache and

    cache_ssl.

      Hello,

I was able to solve the problem on my system.

After reading some post and sap notes I decided to reset the complete installation:

      1. I removed complete sld configuration for XI

      2. I changed the host name to full qualified as specified in note 804124

      3. I checked sld config as in note 764176

      4. I reconfigured PI/XI from NWA template installer

During implementation of note 804124 I noticed that the connect values for SLD in service XI AF CPA Cache where missing. Perhaps this corrected the error.

      Hope this helps others,

      Regards,

      Frank
