Check Transport Tool error

Hi,

We are having a problem when checking the transport tool for our PRD system from the domain controller which is DEV system. Our landscape is this:

Our DEV system/server resides in one location, the QAS and PRD server resides on another location which has different network than DEV. Is that possible to configure the transport management system with that kind of landscape? And if it is okay for a transport route to be generated for the three systems?

When we check on the transport tool for PRD system from domain controller, we are getting inconsistent output. Please see attached screenshot.

Hoping for a prompt response.

Thank you!

Regards,

AJ

    Hi Almira,

You can have three system landscape as normal

You can have your DS3 as your normal controller with QS3 and PS3 in landscape.

    Option 1:

    -----------

You can try to have your qs3, ps3 (both) /usr/sap/trans renamed to something like /usr/sap/trans_old and then make NFS from qs3 and ps3 new /usr/sap/trans which should be NFS to DS3 /usr/sap/trans and try configuring STMS.

    Option 2:

    -----------

You can try without renaming as well and it should work where you might need to use concept of transport groups in picture.
