Dear Experts,
Our client want to define scheduler (schedule job) for period end activity which should calculate:
1. Production order Revaluation
2. Variance Calculation, KKS1
3. WIP Calculation, KKAO
4. Actual Settlement, CO88
So kindly let me know how to fix this in background with minimum manual intervention.
We need to do this for 9-10 plants, so how we need to take this:
1. To execute all the steps(1,2,3,4 and 5) for plant wise.
2. Or to execute 1st step for all the plants and then second onwards.
Because we need to consider the system performance as well. Thanks in advance for help.

Mohit,
To schedule a period end activities you can club them in one job and create a variant for each individual program for i.e-Variance calculation ( KKS1) . Go to SE38 type RKKKS1N0 and create a variant where you can set parameters likes plants, order type, target cost version etc. Do the same for each of the activities you want then schedule a background job.
Follow one of my document Basics of variance calculation-Understanding Pe... | SCN
Thanks

Hello Hrusikesh,
I have a doubt, If you run the Revaluation of order (CON2) then the Actual Activity Price will update in the Order. So in this case Debit & Credit of the Production Order should be zero or still you will find any differences.
Since my doubt is that after CON2, the Variance should run KKS1. right..?

Raj
Dear Raja Sekhar,
The objective of the transaction CON2 is for replacing the actual costs in the production order(Standard price* Actual Quantity) with the Actual Price arrives through KSII i.e( Actual price * Actual Quantity).
Actual variances we should know after the KSII and CON2 only.
After completing these two activities we can go ahead for variance calculation. Then only we can get the real variances between plan Vs Actuals.

Hi
I would prefer the 2nd approach.. so that one plant need not wait for other to complete its jobs
