The DecryptPasswordError occurs when your ATE previously connected to one Agentry Server but now is trying to communicate with a different Agentry Server (most likely on the same port as before). When the Agentry server first starts it generates encryption keys specific to that installation location and those keys are then shared with the clients connecting.

Simply Reset your ATE and try connecting again and the problem should be resolved. However, you will also want to figure out where the second Agentry server you connected to is. It may be you installed both ServerDev and ServerProd and set the Prod version to run as a sevice. When this occurs the service is set to start automatically and uses the same default port. If your machine rebooted you may actually be connecting to the ServerProd instance instead of the ServerDev instance you are expecting but should also have received errors when starting ServerDev that the port was in use.

    Something to look into.

    • Thank you so much Bill for quick response,

Yes, you are absolutely right, By resetting client DecryptPassword error got resolved but I got a new error Invalid password.

I would like to inform you that, If I work as a administrator(my user with admin rights) then it works fine with out any error but when I try with out admin rights I get this error.

I guess, It's related to cryptography context and key container.

      Help would be appreciated.
