Timing of "Commit and Rollback"

Dear Experts

I have a question about a timing of  "Commit and Rollback".

In case of ByD:

1. When the data are registered in BO, is it committed one by one? Or, is it committed all at once?

2. If an error occurs during processing, how far is processed?
