Hi all,
Sorry to be boring, but NWBC has already been exempted from the renaming process, and will remain SAP NetWeaver Business Client. I did not take this decision, but I believe it is because people are used to NWBC as an abbreviation (and hashtag).
Although I quite liked Simon's idea ;-).
Just fyi
Julie.

According to the document Evolution of SAP Business Client, the "NetWeaver" part was removed from the name since version 6.0. It's now called "SAP Business Client" officially.

If a rebranding\placement is needed, I do like something catchy with 2 syllables ... How about B-GUI (As in Business GUI), or C-GUI (Client GUI). Frankly speaking, I think I am starting to get attached to NWBC

Perhaps just like Prince did in 1993 it should have it's own symbol
But honestly I think it will take some time for people to stop using NetWeaver. NWBC works quite well, BC is too ambiguous like you say. Other options? BizClient, BizCli... this is fun!
Thanks for starting this discussion Samuli, let's see what others come up with.
