PI 7.3 - Steps to expose all PI services using https

Hello All,

How can we expose all PI services using https ? Is there a documentation available for implementing it ? We are currently on PI 7.3.

Hi Kiran,

you need to open the https port in pi. please refer the below blog and doc

Hi Harish,

Thank you for your response.

We have the following scenarios

1) External web applications calling PI services

2) SAP ERP systems like ECC, CRM , HR calling PI services

3) SAP PI connecting to SAP ERP backend systems

4) SAP PI calling java web services & .net we services

In scenarios 1 & 2 do the calling applications have to send a certificate

In scenarios 3 & 4 do the backend systems have to configured for https & does PI have to use that certificate. Also how will it work with Proxy adapters ?

Hi Kiran,

You can refer to SAP Note 1563922. Pay attention to SAP Help link there, and then parameter settings in the note.
