Hi
we have Business Objects XI R3 installed. I have a couple of report which query a sql server database. The Sql Server crew setup a separate database user (which results in a local OS account) .That works perfectly fine.
Now i got the request from our datacenter guys to use an Active Directory user. A user to test was setup , it has all the rights to the database ( as the sql server people tell me).
But i can't get the reports to run, i get always a ' The database logon information for this report is either incomplete or incorrect.' error.
I tried user/Pw , domain\user/pw, user@domain/pw nothing worked.
So my question: is it possible to use an active directory user as db authentication? and how to i have to configure that ?
Btw . i am not talking about user authentication for BOXI itself, that works perfectly fine . we don't have an issue there.
regards Alexander
Is it a crystal report? Where is user running the report from? From Crystal or from CMC?
